Renters must provide a certificate of insurance at least 7 days before their event. It should show general liability coverage of at least $1,000,000 and name Philly Agile Learning Community, 756 S 11th St, Philadelphia, PA 19147, as an additional insured.
Already have insurance? If you're renting for an organization, ask whoever handles its insurance for a certificate naming Philly ALC. National organizations often provide these through their main office, so request it early. Small businesses can usually get one from their insurance agent.
Don't have insurance? You can buy one-day event liability insurance online, often in a few minutes. Policies typically cost $100 to $250, depending on the event, and include a certificate you can send us right away. Providers include The Event Helper and Thimble. These are examples, not endorsements, so compare options and choose what works for you.
